G’day,
One of my avid readers has just read the sample chapters for Paradise Warrior, on Smashwords. They have challenged me, proposing that Paradise Warrior has a prophetic tone to it, in light of recent world events unfolding, after the sample chapters had been released.
I feel I need to put this theory to the test. As every Christian knows, to test everything we hear and see against the Bible. (Just like Hollywood’s version of Noah. Don’t get me started on that rubbish!)
I am aware I made a prediction that the sun would rise in the morning once, and low and behold, it did. Ancient Jewish rabbis tell us that prophecy is pattern, and not prediction and fulfilment, as we in the west know it. This prediction, according to the rabbis, is prophetic. The sun has risen every day since.
Two of the delightful characters in Paradise Warrior are Simon and Carissa.
Simon was modelled on a young friend and Carissa is fictitious.
The problem with Carissa being fictitious is now Simon is searching for his Carissa.
Feeling responsible for his dilemma, I am wondering if you can help Simon out. Do you know? Or maybe you are a Carissa, looking for your Simon.
Find out by following this link.
I will keep you updated on the search. I would love to write the sequel using the real Simon and the real Carissa. If you fit Simon’s Carissa, leave me a comment and I will get back to you.
Paradise Warrior e-version available on Smashwords and paperback on the 7th of April.
